Yes — we can play specific songs and avoid tracks you don’t want. When you book a DJ with Total Vibe, tell us the must-play anthems, special first-dance tracks, or songs tied to key moments. Equally important, give us a do-not-play list (for example, ex-partner songs, overplayed hits, or genres you dislike) and we’ll respect it.

Before the event we’ll send a quick music-planning form or discuss choices during your run‑through.
We’ll confirm your must-play list and do-not-play list, and integrate them into the set plan.
On the night, the DJ follows your requests while reading the room to keep energy high. If you want strict adherence, let us know and we’ll prioritise your list over on-the-fly requests.

Absolutely! We encourage meeting or consulting with the DJ before the event to discuss your music preferences, event timeline, and any special requests. This helps ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your vision for the event is realised. We offer consultations either in person or virtually, depending on your preference.

No deposit is needed. The remaining balance is due seven days before the event. Your booking is confirmed with a simple contract that clearly outlines all the event details. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the event; cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will incur the full fee.

We charge travel fees for long-distance trips or routes with heavy tolls to cover staff time and costs. Fees depend on distance and travel time from our base and are shown as a separate line on your invoice. Local bookings within our service areas usually incur no travel fee, though charges may apply depending on the package, timing, and for longer or overnight trips. All travel charges are confirmed at booking and included in your quote.

All our DJs have World Wide cover Public & Products Liability including Professional Liability (excluding North America).

Yes. All team members hold valid Working With Children Checks, making us fully compliant for youth events, school functions, and family celebrations

Absolutely. We’re experienced working with existing setups and can also bring our own gear, including sound, lighting, and UV effects.

For weekends and peak seasons (Oct–Mar), we recommend booking 2–3 months ahead. Last-minute bookings are possible if availability allows.
